Equipped with a powerful 12 amp motor and a unique V-shaped base, this upright vacuum cleaner directs dry messes into the center suction path while picking up fine particles along the arms, making quick, easy work of keeping bare floors and low-pile carpeting clean throughout the house. The vacuum's innovative shape reaches into corners and tight spots, plus cleans right up to the edge and along baseboards. It can even handle larger-size debris thanks to its funneling effect. Use the cleaner to remove soccer-cleat dirt by the front door, spilled cereal crunching under foot in the kitchen, food crumbs around chair legs and under cabinets, and pet hair that collects just about everywhere. The vacuum cleaner also provides a swivel head, which pivots left and right to ensure smooth maneuverability, a durable wire-reinforced 6-5/9-foot stretch hose, and a crevice tool for cleaning upholstery or hard-to-reach places. Other thoughtful design details include a 13-inch cleaning path, a 19-2/3-foot power cord with a quick-release cord wrap, a pre-motor filter, and a dirt container, which means no expensive bags to buy. Kimberly Kennedy Ok .. let me say that I 2 (cast) dog, a dog door to the backyard and hose and out the entire day tracking dirt / leaves inside to run continuously. Let me also say that I have all hardwood floors throughout and OCD were called to the upkeep of my home. Before buying the Bissell Versus I had a standard (heavy) upright VAC (Dirt Devil), 2 cordless vacuum cleaners (one being a Shark) 2 and handheld vacuum cleaners. Always on a quest to find the perfect vacuum cleaner, I sucked (pun intended) right into the infomercial on Bissell Versus. After reading online reviews (some good, some bad), I decided, what the hell .. I'll give it a shot. Here is what I found after spending last night for the first time: 1) Difficult to find in stores, but eventually find a local Target on sale for $ 59th (Yay!) 2) Easy to assemble. Really easy 3) concerns about the reviews saying that it was difficult to maneuver, I found it quite easy (I'm pathetic)! I thought it was not too "top heavy" at all. WAY lighter than my normal upright vacuum cleaner, and "V" head makes vacuuming around the table / chairs / furniture so much easier. 4) all my dog-hair-Tumbleweeds vacuum with no problems at all, no matter how big they were, including some large leaves that had fallen from my potted plants, and a (very) dead bug that was seen at one point, when I was out and buy this vacuum. I was very happy with how much dust it picked up! I personally have no problem with the expelled air to blow the hair / debris .. VAC sucked it right before it was too far away. 5) Many reviews complain about how short the cable, I was afraid I spend half my time plug / again. Although it is shorter than my normal upright vacuum cleaner, it was not as bad as some say. 6) Communication is not too worried about getting the hair against the skirting board because of the "V" on the floor - but I had no problems at all I thought I'd need to use the slot / tube to get against the wall, but fortunately found that I did not even need (well, only once to get behind the refrigerator). 7) I like the fact that it is bagless .. and I Love Love love the fact that he has a roll in the hair / child / fuzz wrapped around! I hated trying to cut / drill of nastiness around my vertical position of the roll. Versus just a big hole that sucked everything! Most of the interactions I had with the lower part, was to take the hair of the little thingy "raclette" after I was done sucking my house .. every 2 seconds. 8) The only one I found is that I tried to use it to vacuum the dog hair from carpet as a couple, but simply was not doing the job. I still use my heavy for that, or one of my handhelds. So, needless to say .. I I highly recommend the Bissell Versus:) 61 of 64 people found this review helpful. Much better than I had expected of M. Perkins I'd give it a 4.5 if I were allowed, why not do a very low carpet, but it is a bare floor cleaner, so I will not ding it a star like whole. That is exactly what is done. I'll be honest, this void was my husband's idea. I wanted something wireless. We have new laminate floors and emptying our old 'carpet' was not working. It was just kicking dirt behind us. I have a small cordless sweeper, which is useful for small areas but not strong enough for the whole house. The Versus is. It is a little "uncomfortable to run because the front part of the large V-shaped body and swivel, but once you're used to. Okay. The head of thin vacuum is great for the crumbs that fall beneath the refrigerator and the edge the disc. Sort V-shaped head pushes everything toward the center, which is the highest aspiration and no foreign body is safe from this vacuum is by far the best thing that I used on bare floors. Same.
