With two big, hairy dogs and three active children, there is a lot of suck. Get rid of tired of pulling the strip VAC entirely to twice daily accumulation of dog hair Tumbleweeds, I went looking for a cordless vacuum that could handle the tasks in my house. I was struck by reviews and features in Hoover Cordless Stick Vac Linx, but had to spend almost $ 200 on her busy. So I argued with myselves too little (and the frugal one must-have-it-now) and thrifty won. I bought the shark for $ 70, and brought him home to live free. My 12-year-old son got his first try, the next morning. He had three complaints outside of the bat 1) you can not get down under the furniture due to the design of the handle (VAC not rest completely, and the box is on the way) 2) you can not brush off the power, such as small rugs vacuumed, and 3) Ravel dog hair around the brush within minutes, and as a result, the brush stops turning back just 20 minutes. We load back, and I tried the next day to see for myself. My son was right in every way, took a little longer. 1) The collection cup pops out randomly, despite the fact that just 2) The brush head tilts back, even with only a slight tilt of the wrist, causing a large loss of suction, and 3) You can hear the engine begin to slow within 5 minutes of usage, disappearing when the battery / power. I have not been able to use it for more than 10 minutes without significant loss of suction. SO, the end of this story is that I returned the Shark vac, after using it for 3 weeks, and I asked for my Linx. I think my third "I" won, after all .. I use it to vacuum the kitchen - put it under the cabinets and pick up everything - I have lots of dog hair. They also use it on my door mats around the courtyard. Just do not try to catch something big. I also use on my carpet of small jobs. I like not having to leave my Dyson, turn it on, so only small jobs. It's easy to return empty and in pop filter that I like is 2 to 1 and easy to dismantle and use as a handheld vacuum with little accessory.
